A dissident thinker has tried to flee the authorities into her dreams by means of an altered tape recorder. Something went wrong and she now needs your help to make a second attempt. However, scraping the components together will take you on a trip through the ins and outs of the city.
The Dissident is a short point and click adventure. It features ornate retro CGA-graphics with BIG omnipresent GUI elements. Item puzzles. Phoone. Goofy characters. Character voices by Emma! A jazzy soundtrack with ambient in the mix. A good time!

Press Right mouse button to Examine

This was fun, but I had no idea how to give the two items back to Rahul and had to use a walkthrough to realize that I just had to click the guy… I thought I was missing something or that I somehow managed to soft-lock myself.
Oh, yeah. It's a bit of a counterintuitive moment that slipped into the game, gotta avoid that stuff in the future.
Excellent little game with a great sense of humor. I found it by random chance in a previous stream and then livestreamed the whole thing a few days later. I'm going to turn that portion of the livestream into a YouTube-friendly video in the future but for now you can watch the full stream here:
